I want to buy a nice jewelry box. What features should I look for?
Although some people like musical jewelry boxes, it is always best to look for boxes that have other features as well. Perhaps the most important thing to search for is a box that is made from a nice material. One of the nicest materials for a jewelry box is oak. Oak is a solid wood that is very durable. Also, if the drawers inside of the box are made of oak, then they should be able to last a long time as well.

My jewelry is getting a little dirty. Do I need to buy a special cleaner to return it to its original luminosity?
Although there certainly are many kinds of jewelry cleaners for sale, the fact is that a person can use substances that are much less expensive to clean the jewelry just as well or better. For example, the main ingredients most people use to clean their gold or sterling jewelry are dish detergent and warm water. All of the substances used are mild to ensure that the varnish or finish is not stripped from the jewelry.

I’m looking for a non-traditional necklace. Any ideas?

A person who is looking for a necklace that is a bit out-of-the-ordinary can find one by going back in time to the early days of necklaces. There is evidence that people wore necklaces up to 75,000 years ago. These necklaces featured items such as claws, animal teeth, feathers and stones. A necklace with a claw hanging off of it certainly would force a person to take notice of the wearer.
