Surf jewelry

A manufacturer of surf jewelry must be able to make the jewelry in a way that it will be able to hold up to the elements. The fact is that any kind of jewelry that will be worn in the surf must be well-built. Some of the things that can mess up surf jewelry if it is not well-constructed are:

• Waves – The breaking waves are one of the things that are hardest on surf jewelry. The fact is that waves do not even have to be very powerful. If the jewelry is not latched tightly or if there is a way for the latch to become loose, even a couple of minor waves can be enough to remove the jewelry from the wearer.

• Water – In the case of waves, the force of the water that can make a surfer lose his surf jewelry, but the fact is that water in general can have a corrosive effect on the jewelry being worn. It is important that a surfer buys jewelry that will not turn green or rust when the water splashes on it. Because this jewelry has a good chance of being submerged at least part of the time, it would be wise to make sure that it is not made from a material that could corrode.
Surf jewelry needs to look attractive and help the surfer express his individuality, but if it is not made properly in the first place, the aesthetic of the jewelry won’t really matter too much.
